We often get asked about our Wedding Films and what exactly is the difference between a Wedding Film and a Wedding Film Highlight. Well… the difference is not only the length of both edits, but also in the way your wedding day is more thoroughly presented.
Wedding Films are beautifully crafted and handled with the uttermost of care and artistic talent. Your Wedding Film Highlight will go a long way in capturing the spirit of your wedding in a concise form and in a format that is easily shareable with those dearest to you. A Wedding Film however, is a photo album in video form that will really capture the heart of your wedding day like no other edit can.
Our preferred length for our Wedding Films is around 20- 30 minutes (though longer if you wish) and, like our highlights, they are carefully crafted to not only music but also live audio from the day. Be it audio grabs from your preparations, ceremony or speeches.
But all in all, the most important question to ask is: Is a wedding film important to have?
Stylistically, Wedding Films are edited in chronological order. The added length means that they will include more coverage from your day, more pre-wedding excitement, more tears of joy at the ceremony and a whole lot more reception laughter and dance floor action for you to enjoy and relive with your family and friends.
If you are still unsure, consider how you will want to remember your wedding day in 5, 10, 20 or 30 years to come.
Think about all your wedding anniversaries ahead and when your memories from the day start to fade. How will you look back at your celebration? Think about every detail. From every glance, sound, colour, texture, song, kiss, hug, smile or laugh.
Then ask yourself: how will I remember it all? How will I share these moments with my children?
Your Wedding Film could be that memory. A reflection of your wedding day that you and your family will treasure for years to come.
